A sexy new forbidden romance from #1 NYT Bestselling Author Lauren Blakely…It seemed like a good idea at the time…
As the team’s publicist, I need a football player to be the face of our charity calendar, and Jones Beckett needs a savvy PR woman to manage his new sponsorship deal.
A simple give and take, and I’m sure I’ll have no problem following my iron-clad rule — don’t date a player. And never ever fall for one. No matter how charming, big-hearted and devilishly clever the man is.
But you know what they say about best laid plans…
Once I start spending my off-season days and nights with Jones, I’m following a brand new playbook, one that has me falling hard for the incorrigible flirt — heart, body and mind.
That’s against the rules, and now what seemed like a bright idea has turned into a dangerously forbidden one.
***
It was supposed to be an I-scratch-her-back-she-scratched-mine kind of arrangement. And man, did Jillian ever drag her nails down my back on one hell of a hot night. Okay fine, it was several hot nights on the road.
Now we’re back in town and it’s time to set the play clock back to when we were simply player and publicist. Given the way the last few years have gone, I can’t risk this deal. Trouble is, I want more than than just another night with her.
What’s a guy to do when he's always been most likely to score, but the woman he’s falling for is way off limits?

Score! 5 Winning Stars
Jillian, the team PR person for the Renegades football team falls for star receiver Jones Becket, in this delightful romance. With Blakely’s signature witty banter, she tells the story of how this couple has to overcome obstacles in order to be together. Of course, the chemistry sizzles off the pages between the two in this steamy read. Both characters are well developed and totally lovable. Enjoy!

Heartwarming Love Story
Most Likely to Score is stand alone forbidden romance told in DPOV by Jillian and Jones. They should be off limits to each other since Jillian is the director of publicity for the Renegades Football Team in which Jones is the star Wide Receiver. The two of them have had a secret crush on each for a long time and the more time they spend with each other, the more the sparks fly! "I had my eyes on your for even longer. So much so I was always getting naked in front of you. Why didn't you have your eyes on that?" This is a heartwarming story, a story about taking chances and following your heart!

Amazing & Sweet!!
This is an absolutely amazing book!! I adore Jones & Jillian so much! They have chemistry that is through the roof! I love how he messes with her during his photo shoot and I love how they both have the hots for each other but they don’t know it! That makes for some fun internal dialogues during the alternate POVs which I love!! Of course getting together would not be very smart or ideal since she is the publicist for his team and she is supposed to be helping to change his image. But then who ever said being smart is the best option? The storyline was fantastic as always and it had just the right amount of all the special ingredients we expect from Lauren’s books! And those epilogues, well they were just crazy wonderful!!

A slow burn, too slow
This book was very light with a lot of inner dialogue. It was tough to keep me engaged. There was so much back and forth. I never got a connection with the main characters. There were quite a few fade to black moments where I wish there was more story. Their time together always felt cut short. The book got a little better for me about half way through. When the slow burn was full on scorching. I skimmed a lot of this book and felt at the end that I didn't miss any of the story.

A fun and flirty good time!!
Someone pass me a number 86 Renegades jersey because I have a new favorite player to root for. Most Likely to Score is everything I could have hoped for. After reading Most Valuable Playboy, I was desperate for Jones and Jillian's story. To say I was not disappointed would be a giant understatement. I LOVED it!! This book was super flirty and sweet. Not to mention hot!! (Ahem, fantasy enactment scene.) With Jillian Moore being the team's PR woman and Jones Beckett being the star wide receiver, the forbidden element was absolutely delicious. Labeled as the team's "player", Jones Beckett is in need of an image change to please his sponsors. Jillian comes up with an idea of a charity calendar that will help both Jones’s image as well as elevate her standing in her quest to earn the new VP position. The project causes them to travel and spend a lot of time together - including an overnight stay in another city. As time goes on feelings grow. Since she works for the team and he has a reputation, they know they shouldn't be together. The tension builds and it's was sooo good! Jones flirtatious nature, his charisma, and his charm, has made him one one of my favorites. The heart on that man gave me all the swoons. The player reputation and negative headlines do not take away what a great guy he is. He is a perfect counterbalance to Jillian. I completely adored her!! She is so smart and professional and she's not afraid to unleash her quick wit and sass. I loved loved loved their chemistry and their banter. Most Likely To Score is a perfect pass into the end zone for a game winning touchdown and I can't get enough of it. I kind of want to reread it immediately. Lovers of Lauren Blakely, sport romances, rom-coms or just really good stories should pick this book up ASAP. You won't be disappointed.

What an amazing and fun book this was. I devoured this book within hours, it’s so good. The flirting between Jones and his publicist Jillian is so much fun and had me laughing at times. It’s so HOT when they break down and kiss. But can they just have a weekend fling? Can they risk their jobs? I ached as a situation occurred and Jillian doesn’t think Jones is as happy as she is. Will he realize what’s really important? You’ll have to buy the book and go through all the emotions I did. I voluntarily read an advanced readers copy and I highly recommend this book.

Sweet, sexy & Steamy! Everything I want from a LB book!
The thing I absolutely love about a LB book is the Hot and sexy Hero that is not only everything physically you want in a guy, but emotionally too. Sweet and sexy - the perfect combo! And a little (ok, a lot) of sexy dirty talk and hot and steamy scenes helps too! * wink*. You always get everything all wrapped up in one sexy read when you crack open one of Lauren’s book. She’s one of my favorite dirty authors. Lol! **He turns, tosses the towel to the floor, and strolls away. Mayday, Mayday. The plane’s going down. I’m about to get a full serving of perfect booty in my ocular zone. I snap my gaze to my cell phone. Dear God in heaven, thank you for making phones. Thank you for giving us devices that are useful for distraction at moments like this. Hmm, I don’t know if I could have resisted like Jillian did. She withheld for so long, her desires for Jones. Mostly because she’s the teams publicist and she working to help fix his image. Her being up for a promotion and him getting sponsors is not helping with their attraction either. But the thing about intense attraction, you can only hold out for so long. Then it’s spontaneous combustion baby! And those are the scenes I live for, thrive for, and am never disappointed with LB’s books. They hit the mark. Every time! ***Jones has played the lead in so many fantasies of mine. I’ve pictured him moving over me, entwined with me, kissing me fiercely with everything he has. That’s how he kisses, and it’s like a hot, dirty dream. I wish I could quote some of my favorites, but then I’ll get banned on all reviewing platforms. Lol!! Just know, this is a a classic Blakely book, guaranteed to get you panting as you turn the pages.

J&J for the perfect score!
We’ve met Jones and Jillian in Most Valuable Playboy. There was strong tension between them in that book so I was very excited to finally read their story. I have liked every single one of Lauren’s couples and Jones and Jillian were no different. J&J(as I call them) were adorable and full of fun. Theirs was a forbidden romance as they both worked together. But they just couldn’t shake the mutual attraction and the undeniable chemistry between them. It was gonna give eventually and when it did, it was awesome. Their interactions and banter were full of humor and fun but were also sweet and sexy. They were just perfect together and I enjoyed seeing that. It was great reading about their relationship progressing as the story went on. Lauren also gave us more depth into both Jones and Jillian. Seeing how they loved and cared for their families and also charitable endeavors showed just how big their hearts were and that they were the best people. What will become of Jones and Jillian and their jobs with their forbidden love? It was wonderful to find out. Lauren always gives the awesome combination of fun, sweet, and sexy. I enjoyed every moment of Most Likely to Score. Lauren gives the best love story as well as the best characters. An awesome heartfelt read!

5 Perfect As Cherry Pie Stars! 🍒
Loved Jillian and Jones so much! I did not want to put this book down and completely devoured it! This was the perfect sweet and lighter read I was looking for! Jillian was such a fantastic heroine! She was the perfect blend of hard and soft. She was driven and determined, but also sweet and vulnerable. Her dirty side surprised me, but it worked so wonderfully with Jones! Their chemistry was blazing hot and so, so yummy! I especially loved how the author incorporated Jillian's Chinese heritage into the story. I honestly do not think that I have ever read a romance with an Asian lead. The diversity was refreshing and I appreciated the author's note and personal connection to that aspect of the story. Jones. Where do I begin with Jones? He was AMAZING! So utterly swoon worthy and not at all like his player reputation. I really liked that his history was (for the most part) left entirely in the past and that there weren't random encounters/women flinging themselves at him in every chapter. From his behavior in the book, I would have never known he was previously such a manwhore - which means Jillian did her PR job very well! ;) There wasn't any unnecessary drama for our hero and heroine and there was just the right amount of angst. The epilogue (and extra epilogue) were so perfect and left me with a huge smile on my face! Another Lauren Blakely book not to be missed! *I voluntarily read an advance copy of this book*

Touchdown!
This sexy forbidden romance is run into the end zone for a game winning touchdown. Lauren Blakely has done it again. Jones has had his eye on the sexy publicist for his football team. He’s tried flirting with her incessantly, but she isn’t catching his passes. Jillian has kept up her professional appearance around Jones, but as she starts spending more time with him and sees what he’s really like she can’t resist him. The risks are too great for them to be caught in a relationship. Will LUCK be on their side. Funny, witty, lovely read. Don’t pass this up.

Enticing!
I’ve never been a huge fan of football, but I’m a groupie when it comes to sexy jocks written by the fabulous Lauren Blakely! Cooper and Violet were hot-as-sin in Most Valuable Playboy, and Jones and Jillian are every bit as enticing in her newest book, Most Likely to Score. Fans will love hearing that this storyline is loaded with the smoldering looks, flirtatious banter and explicit sexuality that this author is known for but I think the inclusion of Jones and Jillian’s extended family and the sweetly romantic epilogue will please old and new fans alike. I read an early copy of this book and all opinions expressed in my unsolicited and voluntary review are completely my own.

A must read!!
Another scorching hot, lovable, and all consuming sports romance from Lauren Blakely. You will absolutely fall in love with Jones and Jillian. These two J’s just go together. This forbidden romance that keeps football star Jones from team publicist Jillian is just too good to put down. In the midst of helping to “clean up” Jones’ image, Jillian realizes he’s not at all what or who she thought he was. I loved watching Jillian uncover the sensitive, sweet, giving, funny and sexy man that is Jones Beckett. Even more, I love seeing this dream man fall hard for the everyday beauty. The girl that is beautiful inside and out. This man who could have anyone was set on fire by “real“, not stereotypical bombshell Barbie. What’s even better is in his eyes, she’s all he sees. My heart almost couldn’t take watching the struggle of having to fight what your heart wants. How do you choose between the career you love and the person you’re falling for? Is it even possible to have both? You are going to have to read this book to find out what path they choose. Most Likely to Score is a must read!!

Wow what a great book. Lauren always give us great books with lots of love and heat and this is no different. Jones is a pro football star. Jillian is part of the PR group for the team. They are both attracted to the other but due to their positions they won’t act on their attractions so it’s lots of banter back and forth between these two. Circumstances force them together and they get to know each other and realization hits. It’s not just lust, they like each other. Now what? Risk everything? I read this early copy to give my honest opinion. I love it. Heart warming, funny, family love, cute puppies and kitties, heat that will set your reader on fire and love, real love. I highly recommend it.

Love story trifecta!!
It’s the trifecta of a love story!! Football, HOT swoon-worthy alpha-male, and hot steamy love scenes between the sheets, what more could a girl ask for? Jones is a playboy wide receiver for a local NFL team looking to reform his womanizing ways. Jillian, is the smart, sassy, intelligent, and strong publicist for Jones’s team. Both Jillian and Jones see their romance as forbidden. But, is it really forbidden when the one person you really fall for is the one you want to spend your entire life with? Jones and Jillian end up spending most of the off-season working closely together to create a calendar for charity to benefit pet rescue facilities. Jones agrees to pose with rescue animals (both dogs and cats) to show a softer side to help rebuild his reputation. During this off-season both Jillian and Jones learn so much more about each other and end up learning that they like each other way, way more than anticipated. Like many recent Lauren Blakely books either a cat or dog will be snagging your attention with their antics. With Most Likely to Score you will find both. Cletus is a 10 lb chihuahua that has been trained by Jones to run doggie obstacle courses. Smoky is a orange and white kitten who posed with Jones for the charity calendar. Lauren Blakely writes strong heroes and heroines with lots of steam between the sheets. Lauren has a great talent to take you to a whole other world with well developed characters that face the challenge of falling in love sometimes with grace and sometimes they take they long way to realizing just what they want out of life. Completely and whole-heartedly recommend this Lauren Blakely book. Yes, this is a sports themed romance but you do not have to like football to enjoy the sweet and beautiful love story of Jillian and Jones.

Sometimes It Takes Man Time
This just may be the funniest, sweetest, hottest book Lauren Blakely has ever written. Jones Beckett has become my favorite Lauren man! Of course I say that with each book and each man. But Jones is a fine man in spite of some of his previous antics. He is also one of the best pass receivers in pro football. The banter between teammates Jones, Cooper (the quarterback from Most Valuable Playboy), Rick, and Harlan is hilarious. As is the internet talk show Jones does with his brother. Jones antics to get Jillian Moore, the team’s publicist, to notice him are so funny. Seems these two have had a crush on the other for years without either knowing the others feelings. The story becomes so sweet, so sexy, so heartwarming as it progresses for these two wonderful people it will reel you in. I hope this becomes a series with Harlan and Rick getting their own stories. I promise you will love Jones and Jillian as much as I do.

Sexy, Sweet perfect football romance
Wow. I have a weakness for a good football romance; they're kind of my kryptonite. Combined with the writing of Lauren Blakely? I'm toast. Most Likely To Score combines some of my very favorite things in one place football, sexiness, sweetness and humor. If you're looking for a hot, sexy, forbidden romance look no further than Most Likely To Score! I love when Lauren Blakely writes in dual POV! Yes, she writes hot, funny and swoonworthy men amazingly well (ok, who are we kidding? She's the queen of male POV romances, hands down) but she also writes sharp, smart, sexy women just as well. For me, having Jillian's POV in this book was like the extra point after a touchdown to win the Super Bowl...or the icing on the cake. Jillian was so much fun to learn about. I loved her focus on her work, her passion for it. She's definitely smart and determined to pave her way in life. Was she attracted to Jones? Absolutely. Was she resolved not to do anything about said attraction? Yes. So I loved getting to see her off kilter just a bit with her feelings when she was with him. All the little things that made Jillian tick-from pomelos to cherry earrings-were interesting to read about. This is a character I'd be friends with...and not just because she has a connection to a football team. Jones seems like such a stereotypical football player on the surface...for all of two seconds. There's so much more to this man. He's funny, smart, sweet and sexy. Holy hell is he sexy! He has a strong work ethic, is a family oriented man and did I mention he was sexy? He has such determination and heart-you can't help but fall in love with him. He is absolutely one of my favorite Blakely book boyfriends. The attraction these two have for each other is palpable right from the start of this book. Their banter suits them both to a T and had me grinning. I was biting my lip as the tension rose between them. Their first kiss? Off the charts hot. I was glad to have a backup kindle because the sexy times between these two definitely melted my first one. That being said, there's so much more than just great sex between these two-it's seeing all the other aspects of their relationship and lives that make this book special. This is something that this author excels at; allowing readers to see more of a couple than just their bedroom compatibility. Seeing what makes these two who they are and who they can help each other be is truly special. I liked that they got to see different sides of each other and that they truly GOT who the other person was. Their views on luck were mentioned more than once and really got me thinking. These two are definitely lucky in the love department :) The supporting characters here were fun to read about. They add to the story and support Jones and Jillian without overwhelming them. I loved Jones's family (and could relate to them a bit) and I absolutely adored Jillian's backstory. There's little references to characters in other books-which I always love finding-but again, nothing that takes away from Jones and Jillian. The pacing of this book was spot on. The plot was unique and believable. The writing was fun, sweet and sexy. Lauren Blakely always writes with heart, heat and humor and Most Likely To Score definitely has all of those. This is a book I will go back and read again. I highly recommend it and would give it more than 5 stars if I could.
